Our ZenMatcha ìdrinkingî grade of matcha is a medium grade of matcha tea that represents excellent value for everyday use. The leaves used to make this grade of matcha, are slightly larger than the ìpremiumî grade and therefore impart a slightly ìfullerî feeling in the mouth when consumed.

BULK 250 g bag of Mixing Grade ZenMatcha Tea

This particular grade of ìmixingî ZenMatcha tea is unquestionably our most affordable variety of matcha. The leaves used to make this grind are slightly older and larger than the ìdrinkingî or the ìpremiumî Zenmatcha, and so it has a slightly more bitter taste. They leaves are harvested at the same time as the other two grades, however they are taken from lower down on the tea plant and so have a different texture and constitution.
