ZenMatcha Tea Latte Recipes

Hint: For best results, we recommend using either Premium' or Artisan Grade Zen Matcha for Matcha lattes.

Hot Matcha Latte
  • Blend approx. one teaspoon of ZenMatcha powder (to taste) with hot almond, soy, rice, or regular milk.
  • Add honey, sugar, or sweetener as desired.
  • You can sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom or similar spices.
  • Add vanilla for a scrumptious touch!

Iced Matcha Latte
  • Blend 1-2 teaspoons ZenMatcha powder with a small amount of liquid to make a smooth paste, then add cold vanilla soy, almond, rice, or regular milk.
  • Add sweetener to taste, and serve over ice.
  • Add a shot of white chocolate syrup for a truly blissful experience!

'White Hot ZenMatcha' latte
  • Approx. 1 tsp ZenMatcha (to taste)
  • Hot steamed milk or soy milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons white chocolate syrup or white chocolate powder
  • Stir well and top with foam
  • Sprinkle with white chocolate shavings
  • (can add vanilla and sprinkle with cinnamon)
  • Sip and feel the bliss!

ZenMatcha Chai Latte

  • ¾ cup almond milk (or your milk of choice)
  • 1 level teaspoon of ZenMatcha
  • 3 shakes of ground cinnamon
  • 2 shakes of ground cardamom
  • 1 small shake of ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp. of Stevia (or ½ tsp. of raw, local honey)

  • Warm the milk on the stove or in the microwave until milk begins to simmer. As milk is heating, add ZenMatcha to your bowl and whisk lightly. Add ground spices to the matcha powder and whisk again.
  • When the milk is ready, stir in two tablespoons of warm milk and whisk together to make a past. Add the remaining liquid and whisk ingredients together. Add in sweetener of choice, whisk one more time, sip, and enjoy.

When mixing ZenMatcha drinks, whether you are using a bamboo matcha whisk or a blender, be sure to make a 'paste' with ZenMatcha powder first using a small amount of liquid. Slowly add the remaining liquid and blend beverage until smooth.
